Crownhold Progression Hub
Spend order for gold, staff, unlocks, and buildings — not a PvP tier list.
Crownhold has no ranked ladder and no character roster to slot into S-tier. Progression here means the order you spend gold, knowledge, stone, wood, and prestige so the next expansion actually completes. This Progression Hub collects those spend pages. Narrative how-tos live in the Guides Hub. Calculators and checklists live in Tools.
Start with the early-game build if you want a staffing recipe: click power, then peasants, then scribes, then laborers, then scholars. Open resource priority when you are staring at four currencies and cannot tell which one is the gate. Open buildings when you need the monastery-versus-guild-versus-harbor job list. Open prestige unlocks when the tree is open and every node looks like a 100% buff. Open late-game progression when expansion 6 is done and Steam starts naming expansion 10, Prestige Tier 6, and three monuments.
Why this is not a PvP list
Reviewers of the demo said the path is often obvious. That is why a traditional “this unit is S-tier” page would be dishonest. The interesting ranking is bottlenecks: wood after forestry unlocks, discovery after the first two countries, influence before hegemony, knowledge before crop rotation. Those ranks change when a prestige node hits. The prestige planner turns that into a shopping order.
How to use the five child pages together
Read them as a square, not a line. The early-game build tells you who to hire. Resources tell you which number to watch. Buildings tell you where those people stand. Prestige unlocks tell you which permanent multiplier you buy when the current square is finished. Late-game tells you the expansion-10 ceiling, Gold Prestige 22, and the three-monument set. Cross-link back to how to play if a name like Royal Scriptorum is unfamiliar, to the walkthrough if you need the expansion number that unlocks a building, and to siege and warfare when the banner names a pass.
Same-hub pages should keep you inside this dropdown: early-game, prestige unlocks, resources, buildings, late-game. If you leave the hub, it should be for a guide or a tool, not a duplicate of this text.
Honest limits
We do not rank siege units with invented DPS. Steam achievements name the Guarded Pass, a Royal Arsenal craft, and vassal treaties; siege and warfare and late-game cover those names without a fake army sheet. We do not rank paid DLC; none is required to understand the launch build. We do not copy other wikis. Numbers quoted from videos can drift after patches — check in-game, then check Updates.
If you arrived looking for Codes or a Trello, those do not exist for this single-player Steam game. Links has the store, demo, and achievements instead. The review explains whether the progression fantasy is enough for the price.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common Crownhold questions.
Is there a unit tier list?
No invented army roster. Steam names a pass, arsenal, and vassals late. Use resources, prestige, and late-game pages instead.
Which progression page first?
Early-game build if you are hiring. Resources if you are stuck. Prestige unlocks if the tree is open. Late-game after expansion 6.
Do these ranks survive patches?
Roles should. Exact costs may not. Re-check after any Steam update listed on the Updates hub.
